Sajeeb Wazed Joy to testify in court
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajib Wazed Joy and his advisor on information technology went to the court to testify against 5 people including journalist Shafiq Rehman in the case of conspiracy to kill by kidnapping.
He reached the CMM court at 3:20 pm on Sunday (November 13).

He is scheduled to testify in this case in the court of Dhaka Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor in the afternoon. Since the beginning of the trial in this case, 9 out of 15 witnesses have testified.
Meanwhile, strict security measures were taken when Joy appeared in the court. At that time, lawyers and media workers other than the related case and the state party were thrown out of that courtroom.
Awami League Legal Affairs Secretary Kazi Najib Ullah Hiru said that the matter will be informed after the hearing is over.
The other accused in this case are - Dainik Amar Desh newspaper's acting editor Mahmudur Rahman, Nationalist Social Cultural Organization (Jasas) vice-president Mohammad Ullah Mamun, his son Rizvi Ahmed alias Caesar and US expatriate businessman Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan.

Conspiracy to kidnap and kill. In this incident, DB Police Inspector Fazlur Rahman filed a case at Paltan Police Station as a plaintiff on August 3, 2015.
