Describing Television in English 

Television was invented in 1927 by Farnsworth. 

It is an electronic device on which we watch shows, videos and films.

Like the other inventions of science, television has many advantages and disadvantages

Television contains shows and programmes useful to children, women and farmers.

1. Children can make use of it to watch educative and entertaining programmes.

2. Women can use it to learn cooking, sewing and knitting

3. Farmers have some special programmes on crop production and its enhancement to watch. 

Although television has the above-mentioned benefits, yet it can be harmful to people in some cases. 

1. As it cannot differentiate between children and adults, Its inappropriate contents or special contents, which are made especially for some certain age group people, are used by all. 

2. Fake news is shared by some people which adversely affects the world peace. 

3. Our eyes are our gifts given by God. Overwatching television can cause a serious problem to our eye light. 

The invention of television is really beneficial, as it keeps us updated with the latest events of the country and the world. Its pros and cons are, however, dependent on how and for what we use it. Abuse of television will always result in negative consequences.
