Essay on how I spent Holidays in English for Students
Lesson 10
Essay on Summer Holidays
Summer holiday or summer vacation is a holiday that is announced every year in the summer season due to high temperature.
During summer season, teaching and learning become incredibly burdensome, so schools, colleges and universities remain closed temporarily, and students, teachers and staffs are granted a two-month-leave.
I planned beforehand what I would be doing during this summer vacation. The declaration of the most awaited time of the year, summer vacation put a smile upon my face.
I got ready to visit my native village where I spent 15 days discovering new things, learning new skills, and playing different games with my cousins.
I also gave a visit to a hill station where I spent time soaking up the sunshine to get close to nature.
This summer vacation was really a stress-free time. I enjoyed it a lot, had fun with friends and learned many new things.
